3 April 2017: NIPCM LAUNCH OF CHAPTER 3 –Healthcare Infection, Incidents, Outbreaks and Data Exceedence

HPS are launching Chapter 3 of the NIPCM “Healthcare Infection, Incidents, Outbreaks and Data Exceedance” http://www.nipcm.hps.scot.nhs.uk/ on the 3rd of April 2017 along with revised appendices and resources to support implementation. This chapter was developed by the National Policies, Guidance and Outbreaks Consensus Group and has been aligned to the SHPN Guidelines on the Management of Public Health Incidents guidance. As with Chapter 1 and 2, Chapter 3 will be mandatory for NHSScotland employees and applies to all healthcare settings.
