Appendix 13 has been reviewed and the following organisms/conditions have been added: Nontuberculous mycobacteria (NTM), Mucormycosis species, Fusarium species and post-cataract surgery endophthalmitis, including suspected cases. The list of environmental bacteria (Table 1, non exhaustive) has been expanded to include all Serratia species (previously Serratia marcescens only).

The introductory text of the Appendix has also been amended and further examples of high-risk patient groups have been provided throughout the document.
