Winter is always a challenging period for health and care services therefore, good infection prevention and control practices including preparation for the winter season can help reduce the risk of infections spreading.

ARHAI Scotland have launched a winter preparedness campaign page within the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual (NIPCM) to help support organisations in preparing for and managing the most common seasonal infections. This comprehensive page contains information and links to resources including campaign assets that can be used for local communications for example email signatures. The webpage will be updated in real time throughout the winter period.
