Infection prevention and control (IPC) for safe healthcare water systems (2024)

The Considered Judgement Forms have been developed as part of the pilot NIPCM Development Methodology and have been published for the first time with this literature review.

The Considered Judgment Forms outline how recommendations and good practice points were developed by the Working Groups. The forms outline the benefits, potential harms, feasibility of implementation, value judgements, intentional vagueness, and exceptions (scenarios where the recommendation or good practice point would not be applied).

Existing and emerging technologies for decontamination

Please note that reviews conducted between 2016-2019 were produced using a methodology that utilised the McDonald-Arduino evidentiary hierarchy for grading recommendations.  These reviews are in the process of being updated in line with the NIPCM methodology.
